Mark. I just bought a Hiniker V plow. I also have a Meyer 8' commercial with 4 springs on my W300. The V plow is much better for the first pass on a large area. I have used the angle blade on snow as high as the hood before, but it tends to push the truck sideways. The V blade doesn't push the truck. It just goes straight. Also, the V (scoop) position is great because it holds the snow so you can push it farther. The Hiniker is about 4500.00.
Maybe you could find a used one for a little less. Good luck. JH
