It is USUALLY <key word> the first week of August. I don't think there is an official coordinator, but Carl Buckingham, of PW calendar fame, is our tour guide.

No fees the last few years, other than lodging and food. I camp in a meadow just outside of town, it's free :-)

You can arrange to meet someone or just show up and drive through town. You'll see at least 1 PW or M37 sitting in front of a restaurant during breakfast or dinner time.

All DODGE trucks are welcome, although a Jeep or two have been known to sneak into the group. The Jeeps do have strict orders to stay out of group photos :-)

No special equipment needed, but a locker helps. My M37 is completely stock (except tires) and I made it through OK. I couldn't always take the same line as those with lockers, but I made it.

That said, a few of the trails aren't conducive to long wheel based trucks. But if you have a long truck, or lack power steering, you can usually hitch a ride with someone. Example: The switch backs on Black Bear are brutal, so I won’t take my M37 down Black Bear until I get power steering. The day they rode that trail, I putted around camp cleaning and such.

Hope you can make it out! E-Mail me if you want more info.
