So far I have been very pleased with the Lock Right that I have in my rear diff. Previously I was running open diff.'s with 5.83 R&P's and an old set of NDT's. Now I'm running 4.89 R&P's, STA Super Lug tires, and the Lock Right in the rear end. The roads here in Anchorage, Ak. during the winter can range from dry pavement to hard pack snow and ice. Where I use to worry about either getting stuck or having the rear end come around on me the truck now just goes right on through. On a previous forum there was talk of breaking axles from the use of lockers, so when I find myself in a spot where the Lock Right is doing it's thing, I'm going light and easy on the accelerator. Unless your truck will be spending 90% to 100% of it's time off road, I don't think you would need a locker in the front diff. Robert
