Paul has the right lubrication, but you install glass using a string.
You install the rubber onto the glass, then place a nylon "dryline" construction string into the outer rubber groove where the metal will go, all the way around the circumference, until you have both ends of the string together. Place the glass into position with the string ends facing inside the cab. Have a helper put slight pressure onto the glass to hold it into place from the outside and begin pulling the string from inside the cab. The string will "fold" the rubber over while it is being pulled out. If the pressure and alignment is correct the metal will take the position of the string as the rubber gasket folds over the edge. The whole process takes about 30 seconds. It may take one or two tries to get the alignment perfect but it works like magic!
