Removed a plug on the intake manifold and some fuel drained out. I put a match to each cylinder man did one cause the Exsaust pipe to POP! Got it running on the center 2 cylinders till it warmed up a little then pulled all the plugs again. Cleaned and dried them one more time put them in and it fired off on all 6 smoothed right out and I set the timeing. Never had one fowl this bad befor but it runs now and my setting of the wires and dist was correct by the military way with 7:00 being #1 Plug, Thanks Tom for the phone call that worked great. By setting the Oil Pump to where the smallest section is twords the holes the oil goes in paralel with the two holes then look at the left hole and you will see a tooth lined up in the middle of oil hole. You turn the pump gear 1 tooth counter clockwise and the oil pump is set right to go straite in. After you bolt in the pump your rotor will line up for #1 plug wire at 7:00 on the dist if you set up the pump right. This will work if you have it at top dead center and will start if it is not flooded like mine was big time! I dried out the plugs with a high temp electric heat gun works great. Mark H.
