I bought a 2001 Chysler T&C mini van for the wife. Chrysler at that time did not offer remotes from the factory. I got her an aftermarket one and it is great for those winter time start-ups.Remote will activate through the house and outside it is good up to about 1000 feet away. Vehicle runs for a max of 15 minutes. The doors stay locked and if you get in and don't have ignition key inserted and turned to the on position, the engine dies when you apply the brake pedal.Can't remember brand of remote starter, can look up if interested.
