I don't know about other parts of PA but the volunteer fire departments in the southeast part raise money to go and buy fire trucks. I don't ever remember seeing anything Fed. surplus. Twenty years ago Lancaster, where I live, had a seperate forrest fire unit that covered the whole county.I understand they had some M-35s. I do remember seeing a Humv sitting in the firehouse near Longwood Gardens, but that's just west of Philadelphia. You guys in the New England states seem to have VFD selection
