I agree with the other posts. The 251 has just enough more power to make the driving easier. I don't know whether it is worth the effort to make the switch, but the 251 is a better engine. Regarding the 265s, that is a longer stroke, not an increase in bore. I suspect that would be better yet but perhaps not as good for high revs.
