That sounds about right, but I thought this basic flathead went back to about 1934 or thereabouts? I think there were leaded fuels where lead was some sort of octane booster available around then, but I still think the Chrysler straight six was around before leaded gas was really common?
Anyone here have any hard info? I'm just repeating what I heard which is often not the most reliable source....
