It's actually not that bad. I have insulated the engine compartment and the cab floor and it is not any louder than my Dodge Ram, at least until you get up around 60 mph. As far as engine conversions go, I would say this is on the easier list. Just pickup a gama goat engine and transmission. It is a 3-53.
