I have the "super" and after a while I learned how to not bend blades. For cutting through the floor, you just have to use the shortest blade that will do the job, start with the blade parallel to the floor and raise the handle slowly and carefully. Also, Milwaukie "bi-metal" blades are easy to straighten out when they bend. The teeth are hardened, but the backs are not, so they very rarely break even with repeated bending and straightening. I sometimes use cheapie harbor freight blades where I know they're going to get severely beat up, like cutting through old-fashioned sandy plaster.
