I'm cheap but not that cheap. I think I paid around $120 for a milwaukie in a metal box and some blades and I've used it hard and it's served me well. Even pruned some tree limbs with a coarse blade and cut lots of 3" steel steam pipe with the long metal-cutting blade. You'll spend more on blades before long than you paid for the saw anyway, so best get the best saw. Don't know if you're looking at cordless ones, but I wouldn't bother. A sawzall just takes too much power for batteries. Use an inverter and a car battery if you're out in the boonies.
