Something else that you all should be aware of:
Not all telephone numbers that start with 800, 888, 877, 866, are toll-free. Those so-called "free" area codes can be assigned to pay-per-call service, just as 900 is assigned. It is rare, but it is a possibility.
If you are unsure, do not call.
