No photo. In fact, I don't even have a clue how to post one. Don't know where the red X came from.

Yes, there are some changes over there but life truly is not much different than when we were there. Other than the obvious of nobody shooting at you. No more mud/straw hooches with palm frond roofs. Almost all are brick and mortar or concrete along with tile or tin roofs. Some are actually fairly nice by their standards and better than some you might see here. They are still making model Hueys out of coke cans=) Otherwise the locals were telling us life is very difficult for the average Vietnamese. Better than the first ten years after the fall of the Saigon regime but still hard. Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) has about the worst traffic of anywhere I have seen. Good thing about 99% are motorcycles because there could not possibly be enough room for that many 4 wheeled vehicles. Makes Seattle and Portland look like a cake walk although it is way easier to cross a street over there. Loaded with motor bikes and you just walk right through the middle of them as they cruise all around just scant inches away. A bit disconcerting at first but it seems to work. Just don't make any sudden moves. LOL

I wish I could have gotten a couple of pictures of the few 5 tons we saw particularly the one with the Jimmy in it but I was not able to do that. Did get 2 or 3 pictures of Sweptline D400 and up models. They had a different name on them which escapes me at the moment but certainly sweptline body style.
