Try a good welding shop first.(older establishment usually best) Call a welding supply warehouse in your area to find a good welder that they sell the equipment to. If unsuccessful, replace it (look for the replacement while the repaired one hangs in there.)
In this day and age with all the assorted welding systems out there, Cast Iron is not required to be tossed.
Worst Case: Buy / Build a header system. (Better fuel MPG and performance too) Regards WAW
