James, I can understand people misunderstanding a post, especially when they are not careful readers, indeed, very sloppy readers. My post was in reply to Christian Hazel's invitation to meet with the Town Wagon/Power Wagon people, if possible, making a great DODGE article for Petersen's 4Wheel and Off-Road magazine. This was a thoughtful and gracious invitation to bring Dodge some "legitimacy", so to speak, in the press. Christian happens to be a friend of mine, and I'm sure you've done the Power Wagon people no favors with your outburst. It has been my good pleaure to meet some fine people on this site, and I truly appreciate Gary Robertson's attempt to clear the air. However, I think it was very plain in my message that I was inviting people to attend another meet, if possible, while here in So. California. I really don't feel the need to explain to you, but I do feel I need to clear the air with the fine individuals on here who have read the announcements of our meet, and not read other meanings into them, and who contacted me and said they would participate with us also. I have re-read my post carefully, and for the life of me I can't see how you got so confused, and muddled the meaning of that meassage so completely. It is very, very clear in that message what I have invited you to. Somehow it did not get posted as a follow up to Christian's post, but, still, it is incredible to read my post, and see someone come to the conclusion you and your follower, Greg, have come to. NUFF of that. Thanks to the "Townies" and others that are coming to play in the desert. You have some very fine vehicles and some great guys on here. I know for a fact that James and Greg are not representative of the group, as I have corresponded with many of you. Someone please find me a Town Wagon. Let me know dzrtram@yahoo.com if you know of a good deal. The invitation still holds. If you want to help us get Dodge more representation in the press, and more help from the manufacturers and parts people, etc. give me a holler. We're not gonna take it any more. It's Dodge's turn now.. See you in the mags. ross
