i wouldnt recommend it either, unless you have a whole lot of time and money. I've got a `67 WM300 that i looked about adding a diesel, an overdrive unit, and possibly 4.89 gears. My disclaimer is that it will probably take me three years to do that and restore it and a ton of money. And after all that, it still wont drive/ride like a new truck on the highway; if you want to go cross country to work, the WM300 is your truck.
