If the head on the industrial engine is the same "length" it may be the exact replacement you need. Then the motor interchange would be easiest (and keep original parts in the right location, etc. Value of the truck is sort of maintained, Pride, etc. also...)
It's easiest by far to bolt in a replacement engine. failing that, someone would likely recommend the Perkins diesel kit ($$$)
