I wonder if the 4 speed over drive out of a 1982 D-150 will fit. I've got one that I can't seem to sell and my PW has a terrible rattle in third gear at about 14 m.p.h.. This makes it a booger to get over hills on the road. I assume I'll have to use an '82 clutch disc to grab the splines but what else would I need to do and will it fit.
I have to pull the tranny anyway and figure a later model trans. will be easier to repair later.
