It all depends if you can do the work to put someone elses project back together or would just end up selling it again after you break down, save up more money, buy a complete truck and use those parts for it. Then resell the original parts Queen to someone that dreams of a truck, and she NEVER gets done.
Are you motivated enough to complete it? If so, $800 if you pick up the parts and it's a local haul may seem good. If your farther away, and it's more work/ no storage/ no truck - trailer to haul the stuff in/ no shop to work in. READ LINE ONE and pass. Or give him $300 and hope for no Zoning Nazi's.
You can weld in new sections to support the cross members till you find a set of replacements. I think Vintage will have the springs NOS. Good luck, but THINK IT THROUGH!!! Regards WAW
