Hi Bill!

The driven gear bearings (Rear)are as follows for Federal Mogul. The number will interchange with any bearing manufacturer you prefer.

Front Cup - 3720
Rear Cup - 2720

Front Cone - 3780
Rear Cone - 2793

I don't recommend you replace the cone or cups without adjusting these bearings, and to do that it's a partial teardown. The shaft bearing retainer has to be pulled off. There are shims that are used for proper bearing adjustment, and you adjust the bearings in the retainer. Bearings need to be clean and dry for this adjustment. You can do this over a weekend, but if your cone bearing is pitted, chances are other bearings may be the same warrenting a complete rebuild. Grab your yokes and see if you can move them from side to side. If there is play, then you should consider doing it.

VPW has a complete bearing kit that has all bearings required. They probably have gasket and seal kits also. You'll probably need some thinner shims to. Sorry for the long reply, but it's not an easy replacement issue.

P.S. that's why I keep a spare TC for rebuild and swapout.
