Moby,
Regarding your 2 postings the past day, exactly what problem
have you had with the WC 21 bellhousing?

On the previous forum I queried the differences between the
T214 and T215 engines. Thanks to Gordon and Brian for their
responses, but my problem is not entirely resolved. A T214
engine has been unsuccessfully installed in my WC 21 by a
previous owner, with the rear of the cylinder head tight
against the fire-wall, amongst other problems.
This does not seem correct. I suspect the 3/4 ton bellhousing
on the T214 engine may be shorter or, as you imply, the housing/
frame mountings are different (further forward?). I suspect
also that the front engine mountings differ.
Finally dropped the gearbox 2 days ago so I can get the engine
out, having located a T215 engine after a year of searching
(scarce on the ground here in Australia). It will be some time
before I see that T215 engine (2000 km away) so any WC 21 engine
compartment photos would be appreciated.
At this stage I'm not sure whether it is a 1/2 or 3/4 ton
bellhousing in my vehicle, so the substance of your actual
problem is of particular interest to me.

Which of the Parts Lists is the preferred reference for the WC 21:
TM10-1152, TM 10-1442 or ORD 8 G505?
