Thanks Charlie... Its got Dana 70's front and rear, along with a 205 transfercase. My dana's came from a 1962 dodge one ton. I've been told that because these axles are not a 30 or 35 spline shaft they may not be strong enough for this engine/tire combination.I was told that they are about the same strength as a newer 1/2 ton?? Whats your opinion on that one Charlie? Also I was thinking that by using the automatic trans it would be alot less strain on the running gear. My friends all say Ive got a REAL HEAVY right foot.
