I come here to read abot PW's but I love these
little tangents that come up now & then. This is
what makes this a great forum. I live in a very
rural area. The nearest neigbor is 2 miles,
nearest town, 15. It has 165 ppl. I have about
160 acres for cars if I want, the only retriction
is I can't have a retail business without permits
from the firemarshall. Now to my point, I know a
guy out here who set up an informal refuse site.
He onlt took in biodegradable stuff, no plastics
or metals. Just brush, wood, dirt, broken concrete
etc. He got shut down & fined pretty bad. The bad
news, he was convicted using long term time laps
pictures from sattilites, yes, space photos that
showed how he was affecting, "environmental
conditions & potential watershed problems."
God help us all.
