I saw a great looking pair of running boards at the IPWR. They were on a truck belonging to Frank Irons I believe. They were made from your basic diamond tread steel plate. The boards are one piece with a nice outside edge that was obviously done on a sheet metal break.(sp?) The outside edge has a rolled effect due to it's being bent twice. Once for the vertical edge and once for the edge that folds under. The difference from the original boards is obious but they still look like they could have come from the factory that way. I like Dennis Sherman's boards a lot but if you are not going for dead original then this type of board would work fine. Personally I like these boards as well or better than the originals.
