Probably worth new springs if the old ones are really tired, or if you are going to work the vehicle hard.

I've had the springs stripped and rearcheded on both my 3/4 ton WCs, and given them quite a lot of use since with no visible degradation. It was nice to get the originals re-done, as when you strip them you see Dodge part numbers and assembly numbers all over the things - actually quite impressive and one of those things you would not normally see or look for.
