The first letter is the year of design:
A - 1939
B - 1940
C - 1941
D - 1942
The second letter is the type of vehicle:
C - standard cab
F - forward cab
D - amphibian
K stands for front wheel drive
W stands for rear wheel drive
X stands for special chassis or longer wheelbase than standard production trucks.
352 is short wheelbase
353 is long wheelbase
