I am putting twin carbs on a 49 PW with a 250 KEW Motor. As three of the fout Bolts connecting intake and exhaust are also frozen, I am takeing both off together. The rear/below stud through the exhaust manifold into the block is locked solid.I tried heat,,,no joy.
I see two options. One drill it out....not much clearance for a drill.Two..Drill through the manifold and through the stud, about an inch from the block.(I am also replacing the ex manifold with a later model with the outlet between two and three cylinder).
Suggestions gladly considered.
