Hey Mike, The V.I.N.# should be stamped on the
left frame rail just aft of the steering box. Also
the other follow-ups were correct in that a '59
TW would have had the "Loadflite" 3 spd auto trans.
not a 727. As far as the 6 banger, all my books
say the slant six wasn't offered until '60 , but
I have seen more than one '59 TW equipped with the
slant six who's owners said they were original!
My'58 W100 TW/PW has the 315ci. V8 backed up by
the push-button Loadflite auto tranny. Good luck!
