In the older big trucks (like my old '69 Peterbilt) By the way, remember old truckers never die, they just get a new "Peter-bilt" AR! AR! Ok, back to business. I had a main and a "brownie". It was known as a 5 and a 4. You put both the main and brownie into first to start. Then go to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th on the brownie. THEN, put your main into 2nd and brownie into 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Do this again using the main in 3rd, 4th, and 5th. I love big trucks. Anymore questions let me know.
