I have a 1991 W-250 Cummins Truck with about 320K or so miles on it. It runs great, but as the others say, shakes and rattles and runs super ruff when cold. Mine probably runs worse than some of the others when cold because of such high milage on it. Also when my truck is first started when it is super cold out, it will sorta 'load up' if you rev it up. Yes, my transfer case shift lever shakes alot also. My transfer case is sorta hard to shift at times, but that is a NP205 Trait. Sometimes after I have had my truck in 4wd the shifter is really 'playful' for lack of a better term, and will want to try to slip back into 4wd. I now have the 'technique' down to make it behave. The truck your looking at sounds nice. Id give it a good lookover, and if it checks out good, Id buy it! I wish now I woulda got a couple grand more up together, and bought one with a 3rd as many miles on it. Be aware that these trucks eat thru steering boxes and steering shafts like they are candy. Replace your old steering shaft with a Borgesen one.
