Fireworks is a very big business here. There's 4 large businesses that are open year-round and several other small businesses that are open for a time before July 4. One interesting note, Utah sends undercover agents into Evanston to stake out the local fireworks and liquor stores, then they radio ahead to traffic check stations around the July 4 and July 24 dates. There are many arrests of Utah residents illegally importing Wyoming fireworks and firewater into Utah. There are 3 or 4 Utah Highway Patrolmen that actually live in Evanston and patrol highways North and South of Evanston that enter Utah.
