Been snowing off and on today. Finally got around to hooking up the defroster ducts on the '53. I also got the vaccum wipers working properly.
Anyone ever go through vaccum wipers? Not to tough unless you loose all the little pieces. I cleaned all the grease out of the motors with brake cleaner, and replaced it with 90wt gear oil. I guess we'll see how it works this winter.
Oh yea, I fired up the Sno-cat today just to make sure everything's still working properly. I think I need a new ring gear on the flywheel, or a new bull gear on the starter or both, because it grinds pretty good for a second before the starter engages properly. Oh well, a good project for the summer....
