You could look for Clausing, Rockwell, Atlas, Bridgeport, Index, Southbend, DoAll, Delta, Sunstrand, and a dozen others. Don't overlook names like Craftsman either, Sears and other outlets often had their brand name put on top quality tools to sell in their stores/catalogs. You should do a search for 'Practical Machinist'& 'Home Shop Machinist' to check out their discussion forums for even better information.
