About a year ago a friend found this truck in Montana. It sat for at least 10 years in a field, providing home for at least a million fieldmice. I bought it and it sat at my place in Idaho until last summer. A little soaking with Marvel Mystery Oil and a little persuasion got the engine to rotate around and finally start and run. I replaced all the brake cylinders and shoes, mounted some Buckshot QR78-16 radials on some freshly sandblasted and powder coated wheels and it's now up and running and stopping! I am amazed at these trucks. I cleaned the wiring connections a little and improved the connections and now have headlights, taillights, interior cab light and the heater works. Unfortunately the truck is a non-winch version. I took it for a little ride today. I wonder if any of the engineers at Dodge from back in the 40's are still around. I wish I could tell them how much pleasure I get out of driving around in this truck. Let it snow!!
