Yeah the later hunts are always the best. More snow, colder temps and best of all this one is Muzzleloader only, i.e. your not out there unless your hard core. Case in point, in four days I saw one other hunter. I like that. This year was a little different where there wasn't enough snow for snow shoes, that really cuts down on the number of hunters, because you can drive to the gate but beyond that it is designated foot traffic only (non-motorized). I'm not a greeny, don't get me wrong I just hate drunken hunters with atvs driving by every twenty minutes.
