I bought my '50 from a gentleman in upstate NY. He had no title, but had a form from the NY DMV, that showed he was the owner, how much the truck was sold for, and to whom it was sold too. I showed it to the wonderful people at the Illinois DMV(yea,right)and they accepted it with no problem, and issued me an Illinois title. I had called the NY DMV before I bought the truck to verify what needed to be done, and the lady I talked to told me exactly what the seller had told me. They were great to work with.
