the drivers axle is 2 piece,you can remove the vacuum pot and manually shift the collar togeather but you will need to figure out a way to make it stay in place,i seriously doubt that a chevy axle will work as the dodge has a seal where the inner axle ends,or is it where the outer axle starts?,either way you would need a smooth surface on the chevy axle,and it would need to be the correct diamiater for the grease not to run out,lockouts from a chevy will work on the dodge,no problem
