Or course, the ambulances for instance were "closed?

Note: I have seen in the past several ambulances and caryalls cut down to resemble a closed cab pickup. The trucks are cut right behind the doors, the rear portion being cutway from the mid section and the mid section discarted, the back half moved up and joined to the front portion of the truck.

Seen that. So be wary.

Other than that, no 3/4 ton trucks had closed cabs.

Your assessment is probably correct where some past owner put a civy cab onto the trucks frame.
