Went through some of my service manuals last night,there are sections on the Power Wogons in the 1957-58 Australian manual,nothing is mentioned in AUS manuals before this time.
Manual show`s NP420 syncro box for PW, these were also on Aus dodge trucks from 1953?
Wheel base should be 126".
Would say you have one rare DeSoto 56/57 PW on your hands.
I have a US 53(I think)Dodge PW rolling chassis down beside the house,hopfully( after I finish the 2 dodge trucks 53ute/54van) I can find a dody to suit the PW.
