have decided to buy ONE MORE TOY, then I am calling it quits on the toy buying for a long long time. ANyhow, I am after a Sweptline. Prefer a 69-71. What I would REALLY love to find is a 1971 D-200 Camper Special, with a 318 and 727. BUT if I cant get one, I will take just about anything in that time frame, prefer a standard shift. The reason why I mentioned the Camper Special, is that is what my first truck was, and would LOVE to have one just like it. A crew cab would be neat, but would take just a bout anything. Now here are the requirements: Must be within a Day's drive of Michigan, unless you can deliver for cheap, Looking to spend no more than $1250. Not looking for a project, but something that would make a decent driver. If it needs a tune up, that fine, or some slight work. Need something fairly solid, tho not looking for a show queen. Just a decent driver to run around in from April-October. Something that is not a total eyesore, but something that if a shopping cart scratches it, It wont totally bum me out. Just want a summer time driver. I really like 318 engines, but a slanter or a 383 would be nice. Prefer standard shift, be it 4 speed or 3 on the tree. I like 4X4s too, and I like long stepsides, but I am open to whats availible. If you have something like this that you want to deal on, give me a shout via email at ol_lube@yahoo.com I do alot of trading as well. Thanks for your time.
