For ride purposes I can see the logic, but, the FF powerwagons have more stock articulation than anything else I have seen on the trail that has not been modified. The frame twists dramaticaly. It is hard to get a wheel off the ground. I have seen and heard the Land Rovers behind me with open diffs spinning their 1 or 2 in the air wheels while I never lose contact with the ground.
