I have a copy of the build card for my truck. I sent it to Joe to put on the website. I am not sure if it ever made it there or not.
Mine was a card, about 3" x 8" that had a series of numbers and letters that described the vehicle. For each letter or number there was a column of numbers, maybe 1 through 9 in little circles, and there was a pattern of penciling out the numbers for each number/letter. It looked like maybe it was for an optical scanner or maybe someone would look at it through a template.
It look likes it might have ridden down the assembly line with the truck and workers would look at it to know what parts to put on - what wheel, what axle ratio, color, options...
It also had information written on it such as the motor number and the buyer.
Some of the information is easy to decipher and some isn't. They have decode instructions for some years but not others.
