You are right on with the New Venture deal but whats up with the new Axle brand they use now its American axle or something or other. I have not had much time to look up there history anyone know whats up with that. I know the new electric lockers on the new Power Wagen is there design so what up does that mean no more Dana 70's or 80's that is very scary as well.
I love my Dana and NV parts in my 2001 2500 HD they are familiar beef that has worked for all the big 3 or 4 truck builders at one time or another.
I wonder if Daimler wants to shut down NV to hurt the other manufactures. Maybe Daimler is going to merge NV and Getrag. Far as mergers go we have weathered worse.
Maybe we will get a Cat 2 stroke motor next.
Daimler is already working on a crew cab and a new face for Dodge big trucks maybe we will get a truck with portal axles next and a recycled french fry vegtable oil burner so the Feds build fueling points at the local McDonalds and Burger Kings and the highways will all smell like french frys cooking and no one will ever pass a McDonalds again.
