according to the man I bought it from it was surplussed at the Marfa,Tx multiple engine bomber school and the bought by a man who used it to build the large metal buildings in Alpine and the surronding area. It was quite well known around town the man that had it had owned it about 10 years but they could never get it to run correctly. Dwight s 49 we think came from the same place and the door numbers are 40 apart.
