I take it you are adding the 12v alternator and battery for accessories. I believe you will have to keep that entire 12v circuit isolated from the 24v circuits.
Will you convert your 24v generator to a 24v alternator at the same time? Remember, you can't charge 24v battery pack with a 12v alternator.
