Ha haha! Well, it's just that my sweet old girl is so cold blooded, kinda like her owner.

Even though I'm in Nor Cal, I am in a very unusual place. I have a 14,000+ foot mountain a couple of miles away, and some very strange prevailing winds blow right down off the peak into a depression, through the trees, and onto my property! I am at ground zero for some amazing cold winds.

Last two winters in a row I've looked out the window one night at 11:00 o'clock or so, hoping it doesn't add much to the accumulated snow on the ground. 2 years running I have awakened next morning to find a fresh 4 to 4 1/2 feet, and then it snows for a couple of days!!! It takes a lot of white to cover a Town Wagon, but that's about standard here.

Being as I'm blowing bandwidth anyway: back in the 60's a circus came to town. Big top and all the animals etc. The Big Top tent collapsed from a sudden and unexpected snowfall, but nobody seriously injured. This occurred on the 4th of July!

Think block heater, Jimmie, block heater.
