I got a heater hose type 2 years ago for my old 74 D200 440 engine. It doesnt really get real cold in Kansas here like it does up north. I got it just to keep the truck warm and not have to jack with cold starting and waiting for the heat to start and work. Most of the time theres enough flow in the heater hose system to keep the windshield clean of snow and frost. Fire the truck up and you got instant heat. I only use it on our real cold days in the single digits or when we have snow or freezing rain weather.
