I too would avoid the sign angle. Shows too much intent for lawyers to jump on. I would teach your wife how to use a gun if she doesn't know how allready. Only legal to shoot someone if they are inside your house at the time and you fear for your life. Courts are very leaniant(sp)with females on this one. With the cost of Deer motion cameras going down that is a good option as well. Get a hunting magazine or catalog, many versions to chose from.
A local Dairy farmer here caught a guy redhanded trying to steal his ATVS(dogs barking woke him up) He and his rather large siblings played pinball with him in the feedlot till he was soaked head to toe with ....well you know. When cops arrived they apoligized for the mess and asked the officer if he wanted them to hose him off. The officer told them "No!, suspects have to clean out the cruisers if any 'dirt' is left inside."
