I will always remember a very interesting article in the NRA American Rifleman Magazine quite a few years ago. The bottom line was that the NRA Legal Consul cautioned anyone from putting up signs that you would shoot, your dog will attack, you will cut off something etc etc. If in fact you did have to use force, and they sued, the signs showed premeditated intent to do them harm. IT went on in great depth, but you can get the basic idea, dont put up signs and threaten.
